FridgeFreeze offers a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) Battery Back-Up System. If your normal 110-volt AC power is interrupted due to a power outage, the UPS Battery Back-Up System ensures that your SportFridge refrigerator/freezer will continue to run up to 4 days. The System also isolates your SportFridge refrigerator/ freezer from unwanted power surges such as lightning or voltage surges. The UPS Battery Back-Up Systems are portable and can be transported in a vehicle along with your SportFridge refrigerator/ freezer. Your SportFridge refrigerator/freezer also can run on the vehicle's battery.
The UPS system includes an AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) sealed dry cell battery, charger, and enclosure. This battery has no hydrogen emissions typical of normal wet deep-cycle batteries. Simply plug the 110V connector into a wall socket and the 12V plug into the SportFridge refrigerator/freezer. The UPS System will power the SportFridge refrigerator/freezer with 110-volt AC until a power outage occurs; then it will switch voltage automatically and power the SportFridge refrigerator/freezer from the UPS System.
